Skyliner Band is very proud to be the resident band of the 95th Bomb Group at Horham\u00a0 http:\/\/95thbg-horham.com<\/a> , it is a very special place that has become our “Second Family”.<\/p>\n

The Red Feather Club complex itself consists of five inter\u00adcon\u00adnected rooms and a separate guardroom.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The Red Feather Club, operated and managed by by the 95th Bomb Group Heritage Association, (95th BGHA<\/strong>) is the official UK\u00a0museum of the 95th Bomb Group . The award-winning museum in a former NCOs\u2019 club houses uniforms and memor\u00adabilia relating exclus\u00adively to the 95th Bomb Group and has been described by visitors as \u201cstepping back in\u00a0time\u201d. The museum is continually being updated as new addi\u00adtions are donated or acquired. It aims to tell the story of the 95th\u00a0from their early days in the US\u00a0to their return home after the end of the war through displays, films and the first hand accounts of locals and servicemen.<\/p>\n

The Red Feather Club complex itself consists of five inter\u00adcon\u00adnected rooms and a separate guardroom.\u00a0The former kitchen, which is now the entrance, houses a massive diorama of the airfield as it was during\u00a0WW2 and the roll of honour listing all those lost. The mural room houses original artwork painted by US servicemen and preserved in place by the asso\u00adci\u00adation. The bar is a faithful recre\u00adation of the bar as it was used by NCOs during WW2. The museum itself used to be the Beer Hall. The most recently opened part of the complex is the former Dry Lounge \u2013 which is now called the Blue Lounge and is used extens\u00adively for 40\u2019s style dances and events of all\u00a0types.<\/p>\n

We would urge everyone to take a visit to the 95th Bomb Group at Horham, it is\u00a0open from around 10:00am on the last Sunday of every month between April to October, Also,\u00a0ther are often people there working hard with\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 renov\u00adation work on Saturdays too, so if you see the flag flying, pop in!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They could always\u00a0use another pair of\u00a0hands<\/a><\/p>\n
